New Concept 4000LX Controller
Inner Range has announced the release of the new Concept 4000 LX controller.
The Concept 4000 LX is an entry-level Concept Control Module offering integrated Alarm and Access Control at a very competitive price. With 100 users, 16 Areas and 16 Zone inputs on-board, the Concept 4000LX is expandable to 96 physical zones, 32 wireless zones and 8 Doors, it makes an ideal replacement or upgrade from the recently discontinued Concept 2000. The LX Control Module features a fixed configuration and is ready to support the addition of a wide range of Inner Range’s Concept 4000 LAN Modules, such as LCD Terminals, Card Reader/Door Modules, Universal Expanders a Touchscreen and an RF Expander. The Concept 4000LX controller is also fully compatible with Inner Range’s Insight Express or Insight Professional front end software applications. The installation, commissioning and day-today administration remains identical to that found in standard Concept 4000’s. CSD Opens 2nd Branch in NSW!
We are expanding our operations in NSW with a second branch opening in July. The new premises will be in Alexandria which is 3 km from the airport and will provide our NSW customers with easier access to the CSD product range. Our Operations manager will be Dean Woodyatt with Royce Wiblen providing technical and sales support. Both Dean and Royce have extensive experience across the full CSD product range.

CSD Corporate golf day proves a major hit!
A week after the worst storm to hit Perth in a generation, CSD Perth held the first Corporate Golf Day at the world class Joondalup Resort and Golf Club (its all about timing). Sponsored by our partners HID, Dedicated Micros, Inner Range, FSH Locking, CSD and CSD Vision, a great day on and off the course was had by all. We started the day events with a continental breakfast for our guest with brief presentations from our key partners, then off to the Golf Carts for an 11:30am start. Nine teams in all playing Ambrose with the DM Slammers lead by Mark Romer, followed closely by HID Slicers with Rocco Palladino, FSH Hackers with Trevor Mackle, Fratech Faders with Doug Frazer, CSD Chargers with Paul Dingemans, Insight Pro’s with Paul Riordan, CSD Drivers with Mark Cunnington, Paradox Chippers with Etwell Pausigere, and the Nice Nagas with Luke Ballentine.
The day was superb, and the weather perfect, with blue skies and sun shine all day. A few pink heads and noses for those who did not sun screen up, though. Plenty of prizes for nearest the pin, longest drive, naga and many more golf misdemeanours where handed out at the post golf dinner held at the Bistro 38 Restaurant. With such a huge success, I can see CSD Perth making this an annual event.

ASSA ABLOY’s revolutionary Hi-O and Aperio systems are now available at CSD.Hi-O is a door bus
system that allows Hi-O enabled devices (locks, readers, door controllers) to be connected via a 4 wire
bus. This bus replaces all traditional door cabling and thus reduces installation time and complexity. The
Hi-O system delivers advanced diagnostics, to provide end users and integrators with critical system
information which allows maintenance to become predictive, rather than reactive. Aperio is ASSA ABLOY’s
new wireless access solution.
Aperio radically reduces the installation time and cost of installing electronic access control. Aperio cylinders
replace traditional mechanical cylinders and contain a wireless trasnsciever and a card reader. Aperio
communicates wirelessly with a “Concept 4000 Aperio door controller” which can be installed in the roof
above the door. No drilling or door wiring is required during the installation.

CSD Roadshows prove a major hit
CSD’s roadshows held in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane were a major success with over 200 attendees across three events. Presentations included updates on Paradox’s revolutionary Imperial system , plus the latest from CSDVision’s CCTV Range. In addition to the product updates there was a range of fun activities including closest to the pin golf competition and Nintendo Mario Kart Challenge. Thanks to all those who attended, particularly the 105 customers who took up our offer of a free Paradox kit with the free Paradox training!

Inner Range Release Jaques Intercom Integration
Inner Range is pleased to announce the successfully completion of a High Level Interface to the Jacques 6500 Series Intercom and Communication System. This integration allows actions within the Jacques system to trigger actions within the Inner Range Security and Access Control system or any other connected system, such as a Video, Fire or BMS System. Using the various integration options now available within the Inner Range system, a specific button press on a specific intercom or help point may now trigger an alarm within the Inner Range system, notifying a security officer or central station operator. In addition, video of that location may be displayed within the Insight System Management Software GUI or on multiple monitors via the video surveillance system. PTZ cameras may also be sent to specific presets for the nominated intercom or help point, and a range of macro logic and other actions may be invoked automatically as a result of high level logical alarm events that may be sent from Insight to the video surveillance system. All relevant information may now be presented to the operator to allow him or her to take the most appropriate response actions. This interface is now available. Inner Range Release Genetec Intercom Integration
Inner Range have released a new high level Insight software interface for Genetec CCTV management systems.
View live and historical video directly in the Insight workspace
• Drag & Drop cameras onto graphical floor plans
• Playback recorded video based on Insight event log time stamps
• Send commands to trigger events in the video management system
• Associate cameras with objects in the Insight data base
(Doors, Inputs, Users etc)
Inner Range have also released full hardware integration between the Concept 4000 control module and Genetec software. Alarms from the Genetec software (Hard Disk Failure, Image failure etc) can now be sent from the Genetec server and mapped to an alarm in the Concept 4000 system, and this alarm can then be processed with all the processing power of the Concept 4000 system (ie Send alarm information via Dialer, IP, SMS etc, trigger sirens or alarms etc). Additionally alarms from detectors on the Concept 4000 system can be sent to the Genetec server to trigger Cameras on monitors or PTZs

The whole world seems to be going iPhone crazy and I’m pleased to announce that CSD’s ProAV DVR range has its own free iPhone Application for live viewing. A number of our integrators have had end users demanding this feature and its great to see this application now helping our integrators win new projects. iClass HS Promotion
Are you still using old generation Prox technologies? iClass HS provides higher security, complete control for integrators, and with our iClass HS promotion in April and May, these products are now more cost effective than HID prox solutions.
Integrators can register their own iClass-HS key and this ensures that no-one, other than the registered owner of iClass-HS system is able upgrade or supply credentials to an iClass-HS site. This gives customers complete control over their installations. Integrators who register iClass-HS with CSD are provided with the actual iClass-HS encryption key. This means that Integrators are not locked into CSD as their iClass provider. Installation companies who are unhappy with CSD, or can get better pricing from another provider, are free to change their HID provider.
