The concept WEB interface kit is an add-on web server interface designed to provide simple
control of Concept Control modules via any web browser. It is optimized for use on portable
touchscreen devices such as iPhones, iPads, Android mobile Devices and Tablet PC’s, but can be
accessed via any device with a WEB browser.
The Concept WEB interface provides the following controls via a WEB Browser

- Turn individual Security Areas On or Off
- Lock or Unlock Doors
- Turn Home Auxiliaries On or Off
- View System Review Events (Last 50)
- Provision for Multi-User Login

Compatibility
The Concept Web Interface Kit is Compatible with the following Concept Controllers:
- Concept LX Control Modules (*Note – Home Auxiliaries not supported in LX)
- Concept 3000 – 32K Control Modules
- Concept 4000 – 128K & 512K Control Modules
The Concept Control module must be fitted with firmware version 7.0 or later
The Concept Control module must have the Building Automation Coms Task Active
The Concept control module must be fitted with a 3-Port Ethernet UART**

Connectivity
The Concept WEB interface kit is interfaced to the Control Module via a serial port on the 3-Port
Ethernet UART and uses the Concept Building Automation Communications Task in order to
communicate. An Ethernet connection is required via standard TCP/IP networking hardware
which must be configured correctly to provide LAN or WAN connectivity.
Configuration
The Concept WEB interface kit is supplied with a configuration guide which should be consulted in
order to establish the initial set up. As an overview the configuration stage may require
programming of the Concept Control Module, Configuration of the Building Automation Coms Task
and Configuration of the Local network equipment including Switches and Routers.
